Certificate Program
Because certificate programs can be some of the least expensive programs and they can also be short, these are very popular for x ray technicians. Certificate programs will prepare you for a job as an x ray tech as well as for the national certification exam. You complete your clinic hours in the same way as you would for a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and you are eligible for the same career. You may find that if you are competing with other students who have higher degrees you will not be as competitive. However, there are going to be other jobs out there for you.
